4. Diligence: A computer can continuously work for hour without  creating any error.

5. Versatility: A computer is capable of performing almost any task like preferring the list of students of an examination in one moment and preparing electricity bill in the next moment.

6. Storage: It is not just enough to process data at high speed accurately. Computers today have huge capacity . Data and information can be permanently stored on other storage device like disks, tapes etc .

7. Power of remembering: A computer can store and recall any amount of information because of its secondary storage capacity.

Data:The collection of unorganised facts and figure is called data. It can fead with numbers, texts, images, sounds etc.Data doesn't convey and meaning and it is processed or manipulated to produce meaningful information.For ex: the form field by the student at the time of admission consists of raw facts about the students like name, parents name, address etc . The purpose of collecting this data istoi maintain the records of the students.

Information: The manipulated and processed from the data is called information. It is more meaningful than data, which is used for making decision.for ex:in the marksheet,the marks entered are data and  the complete marksheet is the information as it shows the percentage,the results (pass or fail).

User: The person who uses the computer and the information generated by it is called a user.

Hardware: All the physical and mechanical equipment attached together to make a computer is called hardware.

Software: The set of instructions or a collection of computer program that enhance the capabilities of the hardware aba tell the hardware how to perform a task is called software. Hardware and software are complementary of each other.Computer hardware is of no use without software and sifsoftw can't be utilised without supporting hardware.
